This is a classic stress test associated with a measurement of oxygen consumption (V02).
This measurement requires a specific device, an ergospirometer. In order to collect
exhaled gases, a facial mask system is generally used, the tightness of which is not
always easy to obtain, especially at the end of the effort.
Much more
time-consuming and expensive than the simple exercise test, this test provides
additional information on exercise tolerance and exercise capacity.
